Hi cr3za,

In regards to your question...

"What kind of propagandist are you?"

I don't consider myself a "propagandist".

I think I'm an "activist", who is trying to do something to encourage appreciation and respect for a group of people whom are so often overlooked; until there is a tagic event that gets publicity.

I appreciate your question and thank you for asking!

Hi limpsharp,

Thank you for your comments and advice concerning my message about Miner's Day.

I was just trying to get the message out to as many people as possible.
So that is why I wanted it to be more public than private.

So far nobody has on dA has complained to me of my action.

I'm just trying to get a bit of recognition for the people that provide the basic materials that go into so many of the things that make civilization possible.

Thanks for your kind advice,

Creed

Hi,

Just a quick note to let you know, i think your cause is very noble, and i'm glad that you are trying to raise awareness amongst this community about another communitys plight.

But i think you maybe going about it in the wrong manner. Instead of flooding userpages with your message i do sincerely believe that you should send users notes instead.

This is because unlike me, some people get really angry about having their userpages soiled by glompings and advertisements.

Either way i checked the site, and this time i don't really mind because it seems a little more just than a snowball fight. :)

Good Luck.

Hi Sarah,

Please take a moment to consider what all miners do to help maintain the foundation of our society and in particular, the work of the coal miner.

Here is a project I'm involved with and hope that all reading this will consider:

Miner's Day: Appreciate, Honor and Remember...A petition to the Legislature of the State of West Virginia

Would you be so kind as to take a few minutes to view our web site and consider signing the petition?

[link]

Delegate Linda Longstreth, of Marion County, is interested and willing to champion this cause. If you wish, you may contact her at:

e-mail: llongstr@mail.wvnet.edu

Capitol phone: 304•340•3118

Ms. Linda Longstreth
State Capitol
Building 1, Room 225-E
1900 Kanawha Boulevard, East
Charleston, WV 25305

And, if you agree that this is a worthy cause, please let others know about what we are trying to achieve.

Thanks,

Creed
